Teaching

Charlie directs the Modern American Music Repertory Ensemble (MAMRep) at the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, Massachusetts, performing works by contemporary composers including Graham Connah, Bob Nieske, Matt Steckler and Thomson Kneeland. Charlie also teaches a new course he developed at Longy on jazz compositional history.

Charlie's groups are available to do lecture/demonstrations with students from grade school to college level. He also offers private lessons for a small number of musicians. Contact Charlie via the link below for more information.
